This trek is slightly shorter version of the Dhaulagiri Circuit trek. The trail follows the same route up the beautiful Myagdi river valley, past Italian and Japanese base camps and to Dhaulagiri Base Camp. On the return jurney, the trek takes a different route to Hidden Valley bipassing the difficult 5360m French Pass and also the 5280m Dhampus Pass from Hidden Valey to Yak Kharka. It is still a very challenging trek requiring experience of high altitude trekking.
Itinerary of Dhaulagiri Base Camp Trek
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu. Met by our staff and transfers to hotel
Day 02: Trek brief and prepartion. Kathmandu sightseeing
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Beni (830m).
Day 04: Trek to Babiyachaur (950m)
Day 05: Trek to Dharapani (1400m)
Day 06: Trek Muri (1850m)
Day 07: Trek to Baghara (2050m)
Day 08: Trek to Dobang (2520m)
Day 09: Trek to Italian Base Camp (3660m)
Day 10: Aclimatsation day at Italian Base Camp (3660m)
Day 11: Trek to Glacier Camp
Day 12: Trek to Dhaulagiri Base Camp (4740m)
Day 13: Trek to Hidden valley (5200m)
Day 14: Trek to Yak Kharka (3680m)
Day 15: Trek Jomsom (2715m)
Day 16: Early Morning flight to Pokhara. Transfer to hotel
Day 17: Drive to Kathmandu
Day 18: Lesiure day in Kathmandu
