Trip Overview

The 6192m Pisang Peak lies south of Chulu peaks and on the ridge that run down from Kang La pass between Marshyangdi River and Nar/Phu valley. It is on one of the most popular Annapurna Circuit route and the ridge drops down to the river just above Chame on the way to Manag. We have included the ascent to the summit as part of this  outstanding trek but you can head back out if you have insufficient time. The climb is not too difficult but the reward will be the superb views of the surrounding mountain and landscapes as well as achievement of summitting 6000m+ mountain. If you decide to continue the circuit, Thorong La pass will not be as daunting as it actually is.
